Nothing brings Canadians closer together like hockey.

We love the passionate fans, the energy of the players, and the excitement of the game. It’s exhilarating to be sitting in the stands of a good ol’ hockey game; a youthful memory that many cherish.

ARGO has helped young hockey fans in Mississauga make some memories of their own by providing them an opportunity to see their hometown hockey heroes: The Mississauga Steelheads. With a generous donation of 500 tickets to the Steelheads’ final game of the 2014 regular season at the Hersey Centre, the community got to share in the experience. ARGO’s contribution made it possible for Peel Halton Dufferin Acquired Brain Injury Services to provide their clients with the wonderful experience of enjoying a hockey game with their peers and the community in general. Since its inception in 1992, Peel Halton Dufferin Acquired Brain Injury Services, a charitable and not for profit organization has been providing community based rehabilitation and life-long support for adults who live with the effects of acquired brain injury. As well, the Halton Canadian Cancer Society Office used the tickets to support their Relay For Life Campaign.

Even though the Kingston Frontenacs left the game victorious, the spirit of Steelheads fans remained high. The Hershey Centre recorded this game as the fifth highest in attendance of the season.
